This Privacy Policy explains how the uTrack Sports mobile app (“uTrack,” “the app,” “we,” “us”) handles information. We built uTrack to keep your team's data simple and under your control. Please read this policy alongside the app's listing on the Apple App Store.
When you use uTrack, you create content such as team names, rosters, player details, game records, and the statistics you track during games. This content is stored locally on your device using the app's on-device database. It is not transmitted to or stored by us.
If you choose to use a device or operating-system backup feature (for example, an iCloud device backup), your app data may be included in that backup according to Apple's terms and your device settings. That backup is controlled by you and Apple, not by uTrack.
uTrack lets you export and share game summaries and statistics (for example as PDF, HTML, or CSV) using your device's standard sharing options — such as email or messaging. When you share a file, it goes only to the recipients and services you select. uTrack does not send these files to us.
To improve the app and diagnose problems, uTrack uses third-party analytics and crash-reporting services, including Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics). These tools may collect limited information such as:
This information is used to understand overall app usage and stability. It is not used to identify you personally, and the team data you enter (players, games, stats) is not sent to these services. Google processes this data as described in Firebase's privacy and security documentation and the Google Privacy Policy.
uTrack offers an optional premium subscription. Purchases and renewals are handled entirely by the Apple App Store using your Apple ID. uTrack receives confirmation of your subscription status so it can unlock premium features, but we do not receive or store your name, card number, or other payment information. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's privacy policy and terms.
uTrack is designed for coaches, team managers, and parents who track youth sports. It is intended for use by adults. While the app may contain information about youth players that an adult chooses to enter, that information is stored locally on the adult user's device as described above. uTrack does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
We do not sell your personal information. Limited diagnostic and analytics information is processed by our service providers (such as Google Firebase) solely to provide the analytics and crash-reporting functions described above. We may disclose information if required by law.
Your team data stays on your device, which reduces exposure compared with apps that store everything on a central server. Any data transmitted by analytics and crash-reporting tools is sent over standard encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy as the app evolves — for example, if we add or change features or service providers. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may also be noted in the app or its App Store listing.
